Neurodivergent Friendly Massage

I welcome everyone who is neurodivergent

If you are neurodivergent, I welcome you to come as you are, as your authentic self, to the space I hold in my bodywork practice. You can feel safe to be your authentic self. No masking, no social pressures, no surprises. Just a lot of space for you. I am a late-diagnosed autistic, and I want everyone who is neurodivergent to be able to experience the power of bodywork just as I have.

Choose your own playlist, keep your clothes or socks on, bring your own blanket, spend time choosing your massage oil, meet me online or in person before your session, come and visit my treatment room, keep all communication online, choose your lighting, have the aircon, let out your ticks without judgement, bring a chaperone, stop for movement breaks…the choices are all yours.

How I work with you

  • Before you book: you can book a Zoom call with me, email me with your questions, or pop over to my room and meet me there and have a tour....all with no obligation!

  • Booking Your Appointment: There are a number of ways you can book in with me: Book Online, Text/WhatsApp me, email me or call me (you do not have to speak to me on the phone if you prefer not to, I totally get that!).


  • Safe Space: During your time with me, my room is your safe space. This means that if you need a break, you need a drink of water, you need to go to the toilet, or you need to take a minute before we start, its all ok. There is no judgement here, no need to mask, you can be yourself 100%.


  • Smells: If there are certain smells you have an aversion to, please let me know in advance, and I can make sure they are not in the room (I don't burn any kind of incense or use candles, etc., during any of my sessions). I have a selection of plain oils and waxes, and some scented ones - you get to choose what you want.


  • Consultation Form: I will send you a consultation form before your appointment to capture medical information and find out more about you and your body. His really helps me to understand where you are and what you need, and therefore how I can work with you. When you arrive we usually have a short natter but there is no pressure to talk to me! Everything else, including any anxietes or worries you may have, can be discussed in advance.


  • Lights: I have a number of lights in the room with varying levels of brightness. I always prepare the room so that it's got a relaxed vibe using ambient lighting. Please let me know if you need the lighting levels changed, and I will adjust accordingly.

  • Noises: I tend to play ambient vibes (Bob Holdroyd, Red Bhudda, B-Tribe, Thierry David etc.,). If you would prefer this music off, or have a special playlist you’d like to request, please do let me know.

  • Water and Jewellery: I will leave some water for you (please feel free to bring your own if you prefer), a bowl for jewellery (please take necklaces, chunky earrings and bracelets off).

  • Clothing: You can have a massage fully clothed, or you can take off some clothes, or you can come right down to just your underwear. Whatever happens, I work with a big sheet, which I drape to expose only the area I am working on. I always leave the room at the start and end of every session so you have privacy to undress and dress.

  • Toilet: The bathroom is 10 seconds from my room, so very close by. If you need to use this at any time during your session, you can.

  • Eye Contact and Conversation: You will never be required to make eye contact with me during your session. During your massage, you choose whether to talk or not. You can ask to stop or ask for anything to change whenever you want (and this can also be via a hand signal). I will speak clearly if I need to move you around e.g. turn over from front to back. But other than that, the time is yours to be as you want to be.

  • Moving Your Body: We will discuss how we will work together at the start of every session - this could be face up, face down or on your side (or combination of these). If you have a preference, I will work with this. I'll show you which sheet or blanket to go under. If I need to move your arm or your leg during a session, I will let you know before I start tomove it. If you need move, you go ahead and move. You can twitch, stimm or figdet as much as you want to.

  • Temperature: In my room, there is an aircon system that does hot and cold, I also have a heated blanket, hot and cold stones even coolpacks! Whatever you want, I am there to make you comfortable, so please just ask. I will check in with you on how you’re feeling tempreture wise at the start, but please let me know if this changes at any time.

  • Paying: If you book online, you can pay when you book, or you can give me cash on the day or do a BACS transfer.
