Move with Me

I teach movement on a 1-2-1 or small group basis from my warm and low-sensory space in Macclesfield.

Movement coaching is a chance to slow down and get to know how your body actually moves. Sessions are unhurried and practical, built around what feels good, what feels difficult, and what you want to be able to do in your everyday life. There is no routine to follow and no expectation to get it right. We work with your body, as it is.

What I do

I’m a qualified yoga teacher (RYT280), and my sessions draw on everything I’ve learned in over 20 years of moving my body. I draw from pilates, chi gong, breath work and other movement traditions. I don’t teach any one style in a fixed way.

Instead I choose from these approaches to suit the person in front of me, so that what you practise is useful, manageable and enjoyable. Much of the focus is on breath, awareness, control and building confidence in your own movement.

One to One Sessions

One-to-one sessions are tailored entirely to you. We might spend time on mobility, strength, coordination, posture, breathing, or simply learning to move with more ease.

Each session is adapted as we go, and I’ll often give you a few simple things to practise between appointments so the work carries into daily life. This is a good option if you are new to movement, returning after a break, managing stiffness or discomfort, or find group classes overwhelming.

  • Personalised 1–1 sessions and online client portal

  • A safe, supportive space to explore movement at your own pace

  • Help with injuries, fear of movement

  • Strategies to support daily movement and long-term resilience

What to expect

Small group, low-sensory classes

My small group classes are capped at six people, so there is room for individual attention and nobody gets lost in the crowd. They are low-sensory and neurodivergent-friendly by design: the space is calm and quiet, the pace is gentle, and instructions are clear and predictable.

You move at your own pace, take a break when you want, stim or just lie down and have a nice rest - with no explanation required! Classes are run occasionally and announced as they are scheduled, so follow my social media or get in touch to be added to the list.
