A powerful way to look after your body

Seated acupressure massage evolved from ancient techniques called Anma massage (Japan) and Anmo massage (China). Anma literally means 'to press and rub'. Both versions of these techniques draw on the concepts of meridians and acupressure points which are key parts of the Eastern way of understanding health and disease in the human body. The Western style of seated massage was pioneered by David Palmer, who was giving massages to Apple employees in 1984! Since then, this form of massage has become the go-to massage for helping people feel better in the workplace.

Whether you are struggling with muscular tension, stiff joints, headaches, stress or anxiety, or would like to improve your overall sense of well-being, a seated accupressure massage can help. It is a quick, clothed massage performed in an ergonomic chair, targeting the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and scalp using acupressure points to relieve stress, boost energy, and improve posture - all without oils or removing clothes. I use a specific sequence (Kata) of pressure with my hands, thumbs, and elbows to stimulate energy flow along meridian lines, revitalising the body.

Sessions take place on Tuesdays downstairs in the quiet room from 11am to 3.30pm.
Each session lasts for 20 mins and costs £18.

Prior to your first session, you will need to complete my intake form - the link for this will be emailed to you after you make your first booking. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
