Stay injury free - address tension - climb better!

Climbing is one of the hardest but most enjoyable sports anyone can participate in. Yet it often leaves us with muscular tension and there is a high risk of injury. It's really important if you climb and want to climb to your full ability, that you have a self-care programme which will enable you to climb without burning your body out.

In these 1 hour monthly workshops we will explore yoga, somatic movement, mobilisation techniques, fascial release and trigger point work that can help to prevent injuries and keep your body in good condition, maximising the time you can spend climbing.

You don’t need to have any prior experience of yoga to join in as we will be drawing from a wide range of movement and bodywork techniques. Equipment will be provided.

The cost is £10 per person and places are limited to 8 people per workshop. 


Claire Feldkamp is a Myofascial Release and Massage Therapist based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. She has trained in the UK and USA, and has been practicing as a therapist and yoga teacher since 2011. She works with a variety of athletes including: rock climbers, runners, martial artists, footballers and cyclists. She also works with people who suffer from chronic pain, injuries and stress. Claire is passionate about the movement she does and as a rock climber herself (Sports/Trad/Multipitch) she is very aware of impact this sport can have on the body. Claire is a member of The Massage Training Institute and The CNHC.
