Bodywork is powerful because something very profound happens when we allow another person to touch us in a safe, supportive and nurturing way. Through being touched we ‘embody’ ourselves, coming to a place where we are present in the here and now. Stripped of some of our incessant ‘doing’ and allowed just to ‘be’ for an hour we fall into a space where we are able to access deep relaxation. Those 60 mins on the table become a space in which we can participate in a dialogue with our bodies.
